Your striving for perfection is always leaving you feeling more imperfect.

You're always trying to find the "right" way to do things. You know if you were just a little bit better then you would find the perfect schedule, routine, and balance to finally achieve happiness. You finally feel like you have it figured out and everything is in place and feels wonderful. But you're completely exhausted and it can never seem to last.

Sometimes your knowing it won't be perfect stops you from ever trying in the first place.

Have you recently been...

  • Feeling like you're not good enough

  • Comparing yourself to others

  • Trying to imitate those who seem like they have it all figured out

  • Doubling down on the planners, calendars, and scheduling apps.

  • Falling apart when a something unexpected happens

  • Feeling paralyzed from making the wrong decision.

Life is not about being  perfect, but learning to live with life's imperfections.

My approach:

Change your relationship with yourself to love all of you

Perfectionism is a response to feeling like you have no control. It feels like it's keeping you on track and putting your best foot forward. But it's a mask, no one is perfect and our fear of being judged keeps that mask in place. Holding on tighter to being perfect leads to more stress and feeling worse about yourself. True peace comes from embracing all parts of life and yourself.

We work on learning to change the way perfectionism shows up for us in our lives. Through finding the function of this response we can learn to work with it and when to use it.

Let go of...

  • Rigidity in your thinking for there being a "right" or "wrong" way

  • Self-doubt and self-judgement

  • Feeling like you're never good enough

  • Failure to start for fear of making mistakes

Learn to Embrace...

  • Feeling confident in your decisions

  • Learning what truly matters to you and where to spend your time

  • Enjoying yourself and being creative

  • Loving yourself in your entirety
