I hear you and I'm here for you

The feelings you have are valid and you're not wrong for feeling them. You may feel weak when you feel your emotions and feel ashamed when you've lost control of them. I believe that your emotions are a gift and your ability to feel them makes you strong. The key is keeping them within your window of tolerance so you're still the one in the driver's seat.

I believe in order to do this we need to get to the roots of your feelings and reactions. These roots extend beyond just us and connect with our families, partners, children, and the roles we take within our communities. Many people try to set goals and make changes and quickly find themselves falling off track because the other areas of their life get more complicated and more conflict starts to erupt. Much of therapy involves learning to listen to your emotions through your thoughts and body to be able to process and regulate first.

This is why I practice from a holistic perspective.

I provide a warm and validating space for you to share what's is important to you and vent about what is on your mind, and also to provide feedback and insight to move past the situations causing you stress. You'll learn how to check in with your body and truly calm yourself down to increase your mindfulness towards your goals and living your most authentic life.

You've been struggling for awhile. It's time for some relief. 

Anxiety

You feel overwhelmed and stressed all the time. It feels like your brain never shuts off.  Your emotions are a constant weight threatening to unravel you at any moment. You want everything to stop so you can catch up. Together we'll process these feelings and find relief from the constant nagging in your mind. 

People Pleasing

The idea of conflict with others is more overwhelming than the problem itself. You feel like your needs and want aren't considered by other people. One day you finally let it all out and say how you're feeling but you don't feel heard or like anything changes. We look at how these patterns developed and changes to make to find how you can feel more heard. 

Depression

You feel so burnt out and tired all the time. There's so many things you want to get done but can't find the energy for it. Your sleep is sporadic if at all or it's all you ever want to do. You want to set goals and feel accomplished, but that seems impossible. Together, we'll find ways out of the slump and break the patterns that got you there. 

Trauma

You feel constantly on edge and unable to relax. You know something happened in your life that shouldn't, maybe you don't even know what that is. Together we will turn towards the intolerable events in your life and learn to heal and move past them. 

Perfectionism

You constantly don't feel good enough or that you can't make a mistake. You are burning the candle at both ends trying to keep up with everything but you're so afraid that you're going to fail. Together we'll find the mechanism driving your perfectionism and find how you can find your calm and peace.
